2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Thailand
The path to the FIFA Futsal World Cup
The European teams first play European qualifying games to earn a place on the WC. After the three qualifying rounds seven European countries remain. First there is a preliminary round, then the main round and finally the play-offs.

Belgium didn't have to play the preliminary round so went straight through to the main round. The group winner and the runner-up go through to the play-offs. But Belgium unfortunately finished last of his group and is eliminated.
