Quentin Govaert

Quentin Govaert

I am Quentin Govaert (born 12 May 1986), and hold a professional Bachelors in Physical Education with an A Football and Futsal UEFA diploma.

As a footballer I followed all the age categories at RWDM to end up in the reserves of FC Brussels. Besides this I played for two seasons in the Second National Futsal League with FS Jette. As a trainer I work with the youth from the Under-6 to Under-13 Teams as head coach and physical coach. Furthermore I was a scout, video-analyst and rehabilitation coach for FC Brussels A and Under-21 Teams.

I am the ‘video man’ for the Under-19 Team. First I analyse our team games (as well as those of our opponents) on a collective as well as an individual basis. Then I edit the footage to show the players during theory sessions or for post-game debriefings. This allows us to highlight any shortcomings and make the necessary improvements for subsequent games. These analyses help our head coach and other members of staff to be more competitive in the next European Championship.

I will end with a simple phrase that sums it all up: "A picture says more than a thousand words!"
